ROS Legacy is Mirae Labs' free-to-play battle royale shooter, and the live official label is Open Beta. Up to 100 players drop onto a shrinking island, loot weapons, and fight until one survivor or squad remains. Windows installs from dl.roslegacy.net/full. Android installs from dl.roslegacy.net/android/apk. iOS is Coming Soon. Create a player ID at mirae-labs.com/register before you queue. Those operator URLs, package names, and account rules sit together here so you do not land on a mirror.

2. Take the operator file only
The live Windows name is ROSLegacy_Install_202609251811.zip. The live Android name is RoS-Legacy-2026091811.apk. Skip Drive folders and APK blogs.
3. Create a Mirae Labs ID
Register at mirae-labs.com/register with a 3–12 character alphanumeric username, then sign in at mirae-labs.com/login.
What you drop into
Mirae Labs publishes ROS Legacy as a free-to-play shooter. The official match copy is simple: drop 100 players, loot, rotate with the storm, and be the last squad standing. Modes on the homepage are SOLO, DUO, and SQUAD. Ranked seasons with a resetting leaderboard and a dedicated anti-cheat are listed as live features, without a named anti-cheat product.
The same page claims 100K+ active players as marketing copy. Treat that as a homepage slogan, not a measured census. Steam search returns zero ROS Legacy products, Google Play has no Mirae Labs listing, and App Store search in the US and Philippines returns no iOS app. Play Free Now on roslegacy.net jumps to the download block on that same page.
If you arrived from a ROS Reborn or ROS Origin search, those are different projects. Coverage here is limited to Mirae Labs' Open Beta on roslegacy.net. For the first drop loop, open the beginner guide. For Discord and Facebook, open Community.
The 100-player claim, the free-to-play flag, and the Mirae Labs publisher line all sit on the same official homepage. None of those lines name a Steam app, a Play package, or an iOS bundle ID. If you are choosing a machine, the real split is the 8.25 GB Windows zip versus the 103.5 MB Android APK, not a storefront comparison grid. SOLO is the cleanest way to learn guns without a random fill; DUO still covers a revive; SQUAD is the last-squad-standing mode. All three are free to queue in Open Beta.
Stay on operator hosts
Install only from roslegacy.net, dl.roslegacy.net, edge.roslegacy.net, and cdn.mobile.roslegacy.net. Register only at mirae-labs.com. The official pages do not link Google Drive packs, APKMirror, or paid tester queues. The old Myth Games installer at dl.mythgames.net/rosl/full now returns HTTP 404.
Windows resolves through edge.roslegacy.net after the /full redirect. Android resolves through cdn.mobile.roslegacy.net after the /android/apk redirect. If a page asks you to extract a password-protected archive from a random host, it is not this Open Beta. Read the FAQ if you still have a pre-register bookmark; the live CTA is Register Now on Mirae Labs, not a separate waitlist form.
The release date page walks the five roadmap phases. Alpha Test, Pre-Closed Beta Test, and Closed Beta are marked completed. Open Beta is live. Official Release is next and has no calendar date on roslegacy.net.
Keep this wiki and the operator site in two tabs while you install. When a filename on disk matches ROSLegacy_Install_202609251811.zip or RoS-Legacy-2026091811.apk and the browser address still shows a roslegacy.net host, you have the Open Beta package. Anything else is a different file, even if the thumbnail shows the same island drop.
When you finish install, keep this Home tab as the index: Download for the zip, Mobile for the APK, Register for Mirae Labs, Release date for the five chips, Community for Discord and Facebook, Beginner for the first drop, FAQ for account retries, Other ROS for name collisions. Confirm Open Beta on the title card, take Windows or Android from the dossier, create the Mirae Labs ID, then drop.
